英女王当选最伟大英国人

     2007年“最伟大英国人”评选揭晓

　　 1、The Queen has been named the Greatest Living Briton in an awards ceremony to celebrate British achievement.

　　 由英国独立电视台举办的2007年“最伟大英国人”评选活动日前揭晓，英国女王被评选为“在世的最伟大英国人”。英国独立电视台每年都以公众投票的方式评选出英国不同领域的风云人物。

Her Maj beat off competition from an array of stars, including Helen Mirren who won an Oscar for her protrayal of the Queen. Dame Helen won the top prize for Greatest Briton in Film.
